Flomax for Men

Flomax Is the α 1 adrenergic blocker; it is the remedy for the symptomatic treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

 

The active ingredient of the drug is Tamsulosin

The indications: Benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Pharmacokinetics:
After oral taken absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract rapidly and almost completely. After a single oral administration of 400 mcg Cmax of the active substance in plasma is reaches after 6 h. Plasma protein binding is 99%. Vd is small and amounts to 0.2 L/kg.

Flomax is metabolized in the liver slowly with the formation of pharmacologically active metabolites, preserving a high selectivity to α1A-adrenoreceptors. Most of the active substance is present in the blood in unchanged form. T1/2 of Flomax in the single dose – 10 hours, the terminal T1/2 is 22 h. Write with the kidney, 9% – unchanged.
The dosing regimen: Inside – 400 mg 1 time per day (after breakfast).
The side effects:

With the cardiovascular system: rarely – dizziness, orthostatic hypotension, a sense of palpitations.

With the CNS: possible headache, fatigue.

With the reproductive system: rarely – retrograde ejaculation.

Celexa is the antidepressant, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor.

 

The application: depression of various etiologies, inorganic psychosis, depressive episodes, recurrent depressive disorder, cyclothymia, dysthymia, panic disorder (episodic paroxysmal anxiety), mixed anxiety and depressive disorders.
