Flomax Is the α 1 adrenergic blocker; it is the remedy for the symptomatic treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Pharmacokinetics:

The side effects:
With the cardiovascular system: rarely – dizziness, orthostatic hypotension, a sense of palpitations.
With the CNS: possible headache, fatigue.
With the reproductive system: rarely – retrograde ejaculation.

Celexa is the antidepressant, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor.
The application: depression of various etiologies, inorganic psychosis, depressive episodes, recurrent depressive disorder, cyclothymia, dysthymia, panic disorder (episodic paroxysmal anxiety), mixed anxiety and depressive disorders.
The contraindications: Hypersensitivity, concomitant use of MAO inhibitors.
The restrictions to use: Pregnancy, breast feeding, children’ age (safety and efficacy for children are not identified).
The application while pregnancy and breast-feeding: It is possible if the effect of therapy outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child (the adequate and strictly controlled studies on the safety of pregnant and lactating women were not carried out).
Dosing: Celexa is taken inside once a day, at any time, regardless of the meal. The initial dose – 20 mg/day, the maximum – 60 mg/day. For patients older than 65 and patients with hepatic impairment the recommended dose – 20 mg/day, the maximum – 40 mg/day (if necessary).
